Questions
Is candidate data uploaded when we check a CV?
No. The check runs inside your web browser on your own computer. The CV is never sent to us or anyone else, so checking doesn't add another place candidate data is stored.
And when we make a clean copy?
To make a clean copy, the document is sent to our server, read, rebuilt and then deleted: the original as soon as it's been read, and the clean copy within 15 minutes. We never keep document contents or file names. See our privacy policy.
Does a clean result mean the CV is genuine?
No. The check finds content that's hidden in the file. It can't tell you whether what's written on the page is true, or whether AI helped write it.
Do you handle PDF CVs?
Not yet. Word (.docx) only for now. If PDFs matter to your team, let us know.
